Had all of these children travelled abroad at some point in their lives?

(They were in the threes or fours class)
They will name their toys after it

The LOVE their family. They want to be with them and not be apart from them
They draw pictures of it.
they jump up and down, eyes light up, huge smile, perhaps laughter

It looks like loud voices and big movements

Had any of the kids ever been to Israel and did they give different responses? Or, do any of them have close relatives there, such as grandparents?
—Sinclair et al say: When ppl learn about Israel, they move from being lo-res to hi-res (fuzzy to more focused and details); AND they also move from not being connected to Israel to being very connected.
—In this matrix, people head for top right-hand corner—lot of knowledge and lot of connection.
—In Israel Ed, there has been the idea that someone should learn to love Israel and then they will want to learn more. Sinclair et al suggested that the process is about a little of one growth and a little of the other.
What did we see?
What explains the decrease?
We saw children with high resolution but connection was low.
We imagine this first step as a chrysalis phase. (It goes in only one direction, creating knowledge, before the butterfly)
Our theory, emerging from the study, is that Jewish ECE children are creating knowledge a great deal during these years. And then transforms into a relationship that involves connection.
I am curious how young children understand time - particularly related to the stories. Do they understand an idea of an “ancient Israel” and a “modern Israel?”

I feel that the world is getting smaller in the sense that travel is easy and our children are becoming citizens of the world. Do you think this has an effect on this age? 3-4 yrs?
